Demo Reel
This is my personal demo reel from 2001. It’s a bit dated now, but I think it accurately reflects who I am and what I have to offer. It was shot on Digital Betacam and edited on an Avid Media Composer. Text effects were accomplished with After Effects.Recent Work Samples
This piece was put together to reinforce the Get Help program at Microsoft. It was edited with Final Cut Pro. Chroma keying and motion graphics were done with Motion. Animation was suppied from an outside provider.
This selection is from a product release video that
was edited in Final Cut Pro and chroma keying was done in Motion
and After Effects. Product was shot on CineMonster and stored using
the Cineform codec. Justin Kauer created the final product chroma
keys using Keylight in After Effects.
Edited for Leaping Media, this is an excerpt of a
video shown to high school students at the start of the tour of
Health Sciences. Edited on Final Cut Pro from DV source material.
Motion graphics using Motion and After Effects. Graphic elements by
Karen Lewis. Music from SmartSound, modified in SonicFire Pro.
Sweetened in Soundtrack Pro.
This piece is based on a collaborative design with Justin Kauer. I
created the workflow and schema. Videowall mockups were created in
Final Cut Pro and were then transferred to After Effects using
Automatic Duck. The After Effects renders were then incorporated
into FCP and put together with the final piece. The final was then
sent back to After Effects for final keying and output. Justin
Kauer performed all of the After Effects work shown
here.
